NHBSR knows achieving a healthy bottomline requires profitability and productivity. But most of all it's about people. To maintain a healthy bottomline, we have to take care of our employees. And mental health and wellbeing is not only key, it's one of the most urgent needs today.
Mental Health America's (MHA) Mind the Workplace 2022 Report points out that 4 in 5 employees report that workplace stress affects their relationships with friends, family, and coworkers. 56% of all surveyed employees spent time looking for a new position.
With that in mind, NHBSR spent this summer connecting with professionals to assemble a mental health and wellness program designed to assist our member organizations in destigmatizing mental health and allocating resources to help your employees.
Our goals were:
We’ve partnered with NHBSR members Full Spectrum Wellness, The Richards Group, Dartmouth Health, UNH's Browne Center for Innovative Learning, in addition to NAMI NH, National Council for Mental Wellbeing and others to create a program of monthly webinars, weekly stress management sessions, resources on our website and a nature-based program.
Additionally, we will be offering two free mental health first aid training in December and May.
