Overview
PLAN is creating a network of student-led, self-sustaining and profitable waste-reduction programs in university communities. We have designed a program at the University of New Hampshire involving an end-of-year collection of usable goods, recycling/upcycling initiatives, and business partnerships that create shared value for PLAN and our partners. In bringing this model to other communities, we are developing a national network of campus programs, student organizations, and sustainable businesses participating in waste reduction initiatives in order to achieve a post-landfill society.
