At Counseling Associates, we take a strengths-based approach to assist clients in moving toward their goals. We are committed to helping clients harness the strengths and capacities they already possess in order to help them more effectively move out of the problem and into the solution. With multiple clinicians and areas of expertise, it is our mission to offer comprehensive, specialized services. We have specialized expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Our goal is to provide evidence based, solution focused interventions. CA was founded in 2004 by partners Susan Borchert, PhD & Betsy Harrison, MA LCMHC to respond to the unmet needs for behavioral health services in the Kearsarge – Lake Sunapee region. The practice has grown to respond to the escalating mental health needs in the surrounding communities of New London, Claremont, Hanover, Plymouth, Concord and Keene, New Hampshire and Hattiesburg, Mississippi with in-person services as well as telehealth services across those states. Susan and Betsy were honored to be named NH Small Business Persons of the Year, an honor they share with their talented clinical and administrative professionals.
