Stonyfield wins conservation award Published: Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 LONDONDERRY- New Hampshire's Stonyfield Farm, the world's largest organic yogurt maker, has been given a National Conservation Achievement award in corporate leadership by the National Wildlife Federation for the company's commitment to sustainability. Stonyfield received the honor at an awards dinner this week in Washington, D.C. Over the past 10 years, by improving efficiency at its New Hampshire yogurt-making facility, Stonyfield has saved over $1.7 million and 46 million kilowatt hours of energy. – KAREN SPILLER
