NH Businesses for Social Responsibility Announces Keynotes for 2021 Spring Conference

Concord, New Hampshire – On May 5-6, NHBSR’s 20th Annual Spring Conference, Silver Linings: Resiliency and Regeneration presented by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, will feature keynotes from sustainable business pioneers, Margaret Heffernan and Emily Lane. Their leadership encourages us all to lead with purpose and drive innovative thinking into how we emerge from uncertainty and challenge with more resiliency and opportunity.

Dr. Margaret Heffernan has spearheaded multimedia productions for Intuit, The Learning Company and Standard&Poors. She was Chief Executive of InfoMation Corporation, ZineZone Corporation and then iCast Corporation, was named one of the “Top 25” by Streaming Media magazine and one of the “Top 100 Media Executives” by The Hollywood Reporter. The author of six books, Margaret’s third book, Willful Blindness : Why We Ignore the Obvious at our Peril was named one of the most important business books of the decade by the Financial Times. She is a Professor of Practice at the University of Bath, Lead Faculty for the Forward Institute’s Responsible Leadership Programme and, through Merryck & Co., mentors CEOs and senior executives of major global organizations.

Emily Lane is at the forefront of the consciousness leadership field, with a particular passion for supporting those who are in alignment with elevating humanity and our planet’s sustainability. Her work explores, distills and applies some of the most cutting-edge consciousness tools of our age. By helping leaders activate their own natural vision, clarity and power, Emily explores new frontiers of perception and possibility to help leverage us into the creation of a new, more conscious society. Following Margaret’s keynote on Wednesday and Emily’s keynote on Thursday, breakout sessions facilitated by both local and world-renowned sustainability leaders will give attendees an opportunity to develop and connect with resources, knowledge, skill sets and networks to advance their own sustainability goals.
