Innovative Leaders at the Forefront of Sustainable Businesses to Present at NHBSR Spring Conference
Concord, New Hampshire – On May 1, 2019 over three hundred business professionals will gather for NHBSR's 18th annual Spring Conference, We Are the Change, to celebrate and connect on ways that businesses are leading sustainability efforts in the state. As the preeminent event on Corporate Social Responsibility in New Hampshire, this year's conference will feature an impressive lineup of thought leaders and trail blazers who are the driving forces behind businesses making a positive impact on our world. Conference participants will come away inspired and equipped with tools and resources to help them further their own sustainability goals.
This year's speakers will present on topics in six tracks that cover a variety of issue central to CSR: Energy & Environment, Health & Wellness, Workplace & Workforce Development, Community, Engage for Impact, and Measure What Matters NH. These tracks are designed to offer attendees both examples of inspiring local solutions and successful sustainability initiatives as well as actionable learning opportunities.

Among a host of engaging and thought-provoking presentations and workshops, We Are the Change will feature the panel Redefining Value Creation: A Wide-Angle View of Your Purpose, moderated by Ana Milasavljevic of Sustainserv and presented by Ashley Davis of Cole Haan, Matt Gardner of Sustainserv, and Jeff Gowdy of J. Gowdy Consulting. This panel will ask participants to reevaluate what is most important to their companies and guide their business strategy and purpose accordingly. Sessions around environmental opportunities include Taking Back the Narrative on Climate Change led by Erin Allgood of ELA Consulting and Inspirational Solutions to Climate Change co-led by Jess Baum of W.S. Badger and Lisa Drake of Stonyfield. In these sessions attendee will learn about innovative approaches to climate change that lead to real, impactful solutions. Participants will also take away ideas they can implement in their own businesses and organizations to champion critical climate change action.
