.City Year New Hampshire corps members serve in six elementary schools in Manchester, New Hampshire. Clean Air-Cool Planet works collaboratively with campuses, communities and corporations to pioneer and scale-up innovative solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions and preparing for climate change. Council on Fundraising (CONFR)

Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests

Founded by a handful of concerned citizens in 1901, the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests is now one of the country's most effective statewide land conservation organizations. Stay, Work, Play NH, Inc.

Stay Work Play NH (SWP) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that was established in 2009 to further the 55% Initiative, support and advance several recommendations made by the Governor’s Task Force for the Retention of Young Workers and serve as an independent organization to run a website and associated marketing effort regarding what New Hampshire can offer to the 20 and 30 year old demographic in terms of staying, working, and playing here. New Hampshire is a great state in which to live, ranking very highly in terms of health, safety, low taxes, personal income, and livability. Most individuals who attend college here or visit from another state recall positive experiences vacationing or exploring New Hampshire. They also want to stay or return here later in life. But currently, only about half of the state’s college graduates actually do stay.

Strawbery Banke

Strawbery Banke interprets  400 years of history in its Portsmouth, NH neighborhood.  The museum maintains 37 historic structures and 8 gardens, plus collections.   Role players and interpreters delight 60,000 visitors and 10,000 schoolchildren annually.  Numerous special events, such as 4th of July: An American Celebration and Candlelight Stroll, entertain and educate members and visitors.

World Affairs Council of New Hampshire
