Fiddlehead Magazine

Fiddlehead Magazine

Fiddlehead is a free publication celebrating the benefits and importance of keeping life “local.” From promoting locally produced food and products to the benefits of a “buy-local” economy, Fiddlehead's content supports the interest of sustainable living in Southern New Hampshire.

Like many of the multi-generational family-owned farms and businesses in the Granite State, The Keene Sentinel, publisher of Fiddlehead, is all about sustainability. We are the fifth oldest continuously published newspaper in the U.S., and our interest in living local dates to 1799 when our state was almost entirely agricultural.

To us, living "local" is not just a choice, it's the way we have weathered more than two centuries -- staying connected to our communities so that we can enjoy a richer, more meaningful way to live.
